Everett Elections 2013 Humbled by those who joined her for a history making kick off and thanking those who helped collecting over 1,200 signatures placing about this fall�s ballot for mayor, Millie stated, �I am honored that so many Everett voters spent the time to sign my papers.� Since the campaign begins I'll be walking every neighborhood door-to-door to state hello to any or all, meeting those who may well not know me and discuss what's most critical to every of Evert�s residents. Once we move ahead, we're facing concerning financial times even as now realize that state local aide is being cut and also the state is seeking ways to raise taxes, it is necessary now more than ever before that people slowly move the city forward with real fiscal responsibility, a true commitment to public safety and the educational needs of our own children. Everett Elections 2013  We need to stabilize our city budget. We percieve increases in excess of $50 million within the last eight years. We have to increase the risk for hard choices which will lower the tax bills of the commercial and residential tax payer. The Everett that I envision is one that includes ALL its residents, an urban area that folks want to live and work in and will afford to do so. A city where municipal employees get respect for their hard work and appearance toward likely to work every day. An urban area where the administration and elected officials may not always agree, but always interact for which is the best for our city; not grandstanding for personal agenda. By cooperating we are able to enhance the total well being, developing a community that retains its resident; a city that folks wa nt to maneuver into rather than out of. This fall the voters from the great capital of scotland- Everett do have an actual choice. My opponent represents �politics as usual�, continued political patronization, increasing city budgets and higher property taxes. I represent a typical sense approach that puts the town first, uniting town while governing the budget and lowering property taxes. Please join with me at night.
